Syscoin Bridge released to Ethereum
Syscoin, a Blockchain Protocol founded in 2014 and one of the earliest pioneers of the ICO, have announced the launch of their Syscoin Bridge Protocol. The Syscoin Bridge allows ERC20tokens on the Ethereum network to move into the Syscoin ecosystem. The Syscoin Ethereum Bridge went live on January 28th 2020 at Block 348,000
Syscoin is a decentralized secure low fee blockchain with high transaction throughput and supporting smart contract functionality, in contract to the Ethereum blockchain which has had ongoing scalability issues despite its large developer community.
We interview Dan Wasyluk, CEO of Blockchain Foundry one of the lead contributors to the Syscoin Blockchain Protocol:
Tools and platforms such as Metamask, ERC-20 DEXs, MyEtherWallet, Ledger and others can now be used by Syscoin Platform 4.1 via the Syscoin ERC-20 token: SysX. Syscoin-based asset on the main Syscoin chain for point-of-sale applications, which would be backed by the security of Proof-Of-Work, then use the Syscoin bridge to move from SYS to SysX (an ERC-20 token on Ethereum). SysX can then be used to interact with smart contracts on the Ethereum chain
